Eddie
** Eddie found his forever home with lovely people! **
Eddie was surrendered to Hamilton Animal Control by his owners because of allergies. He’s a lovely boy, and so gorgeous! He is a mix of a breed of cat called a Birman, but we don’t know for sure what he has been mixed with. No matter the breed, Eddie is a very handsome boy!
We rescued Eddie from HAC and took him to the vet for a check-up. He is pretty healthy for a senior cat, but we did a blood test to make sure everything is okay internally, and everything came back perfectly.
Eddie had a dental cleaning and some extractions, and now that he’s healed up from the surgery, he’s ready to find the search for his forever home!
Here’s a note from Eddie’s foster home:
“Eddie is a loving, snuggly, purry sweetheart of a kitty! He is super mellow, happy to hang out with our other cat and just loves being with people. He is a big gentle giant with such a sweet nature, we have loved having him to foster. Occasionally Eddie poops outside his litter tray but goes close by. As he tends to use the same spot when he does go, I put newspaper down there and he now goes on that, which makes cleaning up easy. We have tried different litter and different sized trays but he will still occasionally go on the newspaper. This hasn’t been a hassle now we know what to expect and I really hope he can find a forever home that is willing to work with this occasional oddness! He is such a lovely kitty with lots of love and snuggles to give.”
Please adopt Eddie!
