* Chip and Caramel were adopted by their foster family! Yay! *

Chip and Caramel came into Hamilton Animal Control as strays. They’re only about four weeks old, which is too young to be away from their mom. Another kitten named Boo was placed with them, but Chip and Carmel mistook Boo’s groin area for a good place to suckle, and that didn’t go very well for Boo, so he was separated from them. Somehow, Carmel hurt her leg and wasn’t putting weight on it. We had her x-rayed at the vet, and thankfully, the leg isn’t broken. It’s very swollen though! She’s been started on medication and our vets are hopeful that she’ll make a full recovery.

Chip and Carmel are settling in at their foster home, and they’ll be available for adoption in a few weeks.
