Larry
– October 4th, 2018 –
Sadly, Larry became suddenly ill in his foster home and had to be humanely euthanized. Our vets were not sure what the cause of his illness was, but he was already too far gone to be saved.
We’re sorry Larry didn’t get a chance to find a forever home, but we’re thankful that his foster mom could give him loads of love for his time with us. Rest in peace wee Larry! We’ll always remember your sweet face.
Curly, Larry and Moe were surrendered to Hamilton Animal Control by their owner because they didn’t have time for them. These little gerbils are so cute and sweet! They absolutely love their exercise wheels and they’re so fun to watch while they play together and explore their cage.
Curly, Larry and Moe had a check-up at the vet and got a clean bill of health. They’re ready to find their forever home now! This sweet trio must be adopted together.
Gerbils are born to dig, jump and chew, and their housing must meet these challenges. Examples of ideal gerbil housing are shown below.

Great examples of appropriate gerbil housing. A plastic cage is not enough!
