* Bilbo found his forever home with lovely people! *

Bilbo the leopard gecko, and a few other animals, were brought into Hamilton Animal Control by police when their owner was arrested. Family members of the owner called HAC to say they were going to come pick up the animals, but despite being given ample time to do so, they never showed up.

We placed Bilbo in a foster home with leopard gecko experience. Bilbo had a check-up at the vet, and other than being a little on the thin side, he’s pretty healthy! The vet confirmed that Bilbo is a male.

Bilbo’s favourite thing is hanging out on his rock, eating crickets and mealworms, and sleeping in his hut. He’s not too thrilled about being handled, but his foster family are working on helping him feel more comfortable with this.
