Ricky
* Ricky and Georgie have been adopted together! Yay! *
Callie arrived at Hamilton Animal Control as a stray. She is such a sweet cat! Purry and head bonky and happy feety. And so pretty! When we rescued her, Callie was visibly pregnant. She had a vet appointment shortly after her rescue and the vet predicted that she would give birth any day. Well, he was right! On March 15th, Callie gave birth to four beautiful kittens; Lucy, Georgie, Gracie and Ricky.
Callie has been a wonderful mom, and she raised the babies like a pro….with the help of her foster family.
She’s now been spayed and is ready to find her forever home, as are Lucy, Ricky, Georgie and Gracie!
* Please note – we are asking that the kittens be adopted in pairs Click here to read all the reasons why double adoptions are best for kittens. Two kittens are twice the fun!
Here’s what their foster mom has to say:
Ricky
Ricky is a sweet little kitty and a total love-bug. Although he is the same size as his siblings, we think
of him as the runt of the litter because of his docile and somewhat timid nature. He also nursed longer
than his litter mates, and is a bit of a mama’s boy. Despite being more laid back than his sisters and
brother, though, Ricky is still a playful and funny little guy, who absolutely loves toys on a string and
chasing his siblings around. He also loves curling up in the soft bed at the top of the scratching post,
catching some rays and cat naps. He will come over to you and sit at (or on) your feet, patiently waiting
for pets and smooches. He’s gentle, relaxed, and affectionate. Ricky has a face that you can’t resist and
big eyes that will melt your heart. He is a laid back and loving kitty, and will make a great little
companion for a very lucky person.
Georgie
Georgie is a cute and curious little guy with a sweet personality. You can tell him apart from Ricky by
his markings. Georgie has darker orange markings on his face, whereas Ricky is blonder and has lighter
markings. Like his siblings, Georgie is playful and active and loves toys on a string. He also loves
chasing anything that makes noise or lights up…including his litter mates! Georgie is very playful and
curious and loves climbing and jumping and running around. He also likes to be close to you and will
climb up on your lap for some pets and belly rubs, or curl up at your feet or right next to you. He’s very
social and sweet, and will make a great addition to any family.
Lucy
Lucy has big, soulful eyes and an innocent little face, but don’t let that fool you…she’s trouble with a
capital T! She’s energetic and curious and playful, and also a fast runner! She is a little bit of an escape
artist, and always tries to get out of the foster room and run down the hall. She loves to climb anything
and everything, and she will crawl and climb all over you…including up your leg or your back (if you’re
sitting down.) She reminds me of a little spider monkey with her speed, agility, and climbing abilities.
She’s very social and loves to play with her siblings, chasing them around the room and tackling them to
the floor. Like the rest of them, though, she eventually tires herself out and will curl up for naps in the
sun. Lucy has gorgeous markings and is growing up to be a beautiful little girl. She is a funny and
adventurous with personality galore, and will make a great little sidekick.
Gracie
Gracie is the zaniest kitty of the bunch! She is always getting into trouble with her sidekick, Lucy.
She’s active, curious, playful, and lighting fast! Every time we open the foster room door, she makes a
mad dash for it and is usually halfway down the hallway before we even know what’s going on. She has
the funniest little eyes…she almost looks cross-eyed at times, which totally matches her zany
personality. She tears around like a little maniac, and can jump surprisingly high when the wand toy
comes out… She’s very social, and loves to chase, tackle, and play with her siblings. She likes to be in
the middle of things and loves to explore and climb. She also loves attention and can be affectionate,
once she has tired herself out from her adventures. Gracie is a little party animal who will keep you on
your toes and spice up your life with her goofy antics.
