Lilac
* Lilac and Samson found their forever home together with lovely people! *
Four newborn kittens were brought into Hamilton Animal Services by a concerned citizen who had noticed that their mother had not returned for them after giving birth outdoors. We placed them with a foster mom who is very experienced with bottle feeder kittens, and they did wonderfully for the first few weeks. Unfortunately, one of the grey kittens passed away suddenly of unknown causes on April 19th. There was nothing anyone could have done to save the kitten. Sometimes kittens who aren’t raised with their mothers just don’t survive.
Thankfully, Lilac, Lily and Samson stayed healthy and happy and now they are ready to find their forever homes.
Here’s a note from their foster home:
“Samson is and energetic curious kitten who loves to play with toys. He also enjoys chasing his sisters. Once tired he likes to crawl up on you and go to sleep on your chest. He likes having his belly rubbed as he falls asleep.
Lilac is a confident spunky little girl. She is the first one to check out anything new. She is a rough & tumble kitten who can handle just about anything.
Lily is a sweet little girl. She is a little smaller than her brother and sister and was for a while left out of the wrestling matches but she seems to be catching up to the other two and has found the confidence she needed to join in the fun. She loves to cuddle and when I sit on the floor she is the first one on my lap.”
* Please note – we are asking that Samson and Lilac be adopted as a pair, and Lily be adopted to a home where there is another cat. Click here to read all the reasons why double adoptions are best for kittens. Two kittens are twice the fun!
Please adopt Lilac, Lily and Samson!
