Nugget
Nugget found his forever home with lovely people!
Nugget came from Hamilton Animal Services where he was brought in as a stray. This poor little guy was having a rough go. He had head tilt, he was wobbly on his feet, and something seemed to be off with his eyes. All of that didn’t stop him from being a sweet little purr machine though!
We sent Nugget to Guelph Animal Hospital where he started treatment under the fabulous care of Dr. Fleming. He was neutered and x-rayed. X-rays didn’t show anything obvious as to what might be causing Nugget’s head tilt, but he seemed to improve with time. He’s still a little tilted, but he’s feeling awesome now and is ready to find his forever home! He made friends with some of the other cats in the clinic, and because he’s such a playful guy, we’re asking that he go to a forever home where he has a another cat to be friends with.
Here’s a note from the clinic staff:
“Nugget is a sweet, energetic and loving boy! He does have a head tilt which has stemmed from unknown origin. The vets think it may have been caused by head trauma as a young kitten, but can’t be sure. Although the head tilt has not resolved (but has improved) he is not currently showing any other symptoms of illness, and it certainly does not slow him down! He loves to climb and play with his other cat friends. He has met a couple dogs and has been a brave boy, nothing seems to worry him. He likes to be held but also likes to play with his toys, cats or human companions. Nugget would be a great addition to any family, especially one with other cats!”
Please adopt Nugget!
