Mama B
* Mama B found her forever home with a lovely person! *
We rescued Mama B (Beatrix) from Hamilton Animal Services.
It’s likely that Mama B is the mother of Beckett and Bash, who were picked up from the same address.
Mama B is a lovely kitty. On her rescue day, she didn’t make a peep in the car, and she was “makin’ biscuits” the whole trip to her foster home. It wasn’t possible to reunite her with Beckett and Bash, but she has a great foster home to love and care for her.
We had Mama B spayed, and she healed perfectly from her surgery. She’s now ready to find her forever home!
Here’s a note from her foster family:
“Beatrix is a sweet baby angel who just wants a few simple things… 1) a cozy blanket laid out for her to ‘make biscuits’ with,2) a spot in the window where she can spy on people, and 3) lots of love and attention. Beatrix responds to her name now and is always at the door to greet me when I come home. She can’t stand to be without you, so she’s mastered the skill of opening doors that aren’t fully closed. She wouldn’t like to be picked up all the time, but she would still like to cuddle close to you and receive head bonks. During the day you can find her chasing around a ball or practicing her skills as a mouser. And please don’t forget to feed her on time or she may find you and let you know herself. But don’t let her little pot belly fool you, this girl is agile and loves to jump up just about anywhere. Beatrix isn’t fond of her big brother Blue and would do best in a home without canines. Anyone would be lucky to have Beatrix, she has managed to bring some much-needed sassiness and grace to my boy filled home! “
