* After being in our care for a year and six months, sweet Sam’s health started to decline. Despite a visit to the vet and medication, his little senior mouse body wasn’t able to recover and he was humanely euthanized at the emergency clinic.  We’re sad Sam didn’t find his forever home, but we’re thankful he had a wonderful foster mom to care for him until the end. 

Rest in peace, Sam. We’ll never forget your cute face. *

Sam, Chester and Charlie (as well as many other mice) were surrendered to Hamilton Animal Services when their owner was no longer able to care for them.
Sam is an active mouse. He likes to run in his wheel and explore every corner of his cage. And he loves food!
