No matter how small, we strive to provide all of our rescued animals the best care they deserve. When Lucille the rat developed a lump, her foster mom took her to the vet for a check up, and it was decided the best course of action was to remove it. Our awesome vets did that surgery yesterday, and as you can see, Lucille is doing just fine post-op. Lucille will be taking some time to recover from her surgery, and when she’s healed, she and her sister Amélie will be made available for adoption again.
